From the highlands of Scotland to the southern English coasts, and everything that falls in between, I am always proud of the National Parks and the diverse locations we have in the United Kingdom. And, for this sheer reason, I feel the compulsion to share with you some hidden treasures of National Parks in the UK.

Located deep in a forest, this particular campsite acquaints you with nature. You will see deers and wild ponies roaming around. You may get lost (and, not in a dangerous way) in these woods and find new beautiful landscapes.

Holme Fell Lake

Taking a break from the city, Holme Fell Lake is good to take a swim while enjoying the serenity. This old reservoir nearby the Holme Fell was originally a mine. It is not a wide space but enchanting nevertheless with whatever area it has covered.

Home to some of the rarest species of lichens and ferns, this spot has woodpeckers and red squirrels. You can walk through the bridges. There are 6 of them leading to a waterfall nearby.

Levisham Station

Levisham Station is an amazing place for rail buffs. It remains the same as it was in 1912 and transports you quickly back to those golden days. You can also find the Hole of Horcum nearby.

Force Crag Mine

The place officially belongs to the National Trust. If you want access to Force Crag, I would advise you to book early. But, if you only want to set your walking boots at work, this place is a nice spot to catch up on the scenic beauty and engage with the Wordsworth in you.

Presipe Beach

Follow your love for beaches and seasides by visiting Presipe Beach which boasts some unique formations of rocks and stones that you may not find anywhere else in the world. This is a place that will provide satisfaction to the wanderlust in you.
