While we all move on from the classic old parties to the modern world shenanigans of speedy work and a casual lifestyle, we oftentimes forget the importance of good old sports and staying fit. The notion that we will always stay young has been proven to be one of the nays and it is time to move forward with exercising and staying fit, enjoying sports as the only mantra to live a happy life.

As technology as taken over, it is important for all of us to see the consequences of sitting idle without any physical activity, scrolling with one hand and eating with the other, it all comes down to one thing: how has it impacted our lives positively? The answer is it hasn’t!

Modern-day snowboarding is one such activity that has come far from what is known to be as and for. The rebellious side of snowboarding is not alive. According to me, it is not true at all. The soul is still alive in many ways than ever.

Why do we need to stay fit?

Advancement of technology is both boon and a bane for our society, be it in terms of human development or the social footprints it creates. The board design as well as the park design is constantly challenged and newer designs have taken over in recent years. Dangerous snowboarding moves while attaining a new and fresh perspective to the sport have taken over.

Athletes who stay injured for a longer period of time can be seen as a classic example of how everyday physical activity can do wonders to keep your body fit and healthy for a longer period of time.

Travis Rice is a 35-year-old person with the ability to play big and experiment as he is one of the active advocates of staying fit and healthy starting in his 20s.  He knew that he would have to work harder to stay in the snowboarding game for a longer period of time.

He started to work out and focus on a pre-season regime of exercise, with a healthy diet and an everyday reminder to stay fit and proactive. He even learnt the best way to fall to decrease the number of injuries. According to him, the static fall is one of the worst falls to incur injuries.

I recently realized that my mere ankle pain was most than just an ankle pain and I needed bed rest for a long time after my attempt at trying to live my life fully during my 30s. I now know that it is so important to stay fit and healthy with a minimum amount of exercise daily to prevent these kinds of accidents from happening.

Although snowboarding and skiing put so much pressure on the muscles and ligaments, it is now only the professionals who have a slightly greater chance to get a proper read at what may or may not be the reason for your ligament tear or bed rest.

The rise in ski-boarding and split touring are also on the rise as snowboarding and skiing become capitalized and more corporate ties are to be seen in the future. The same goes for the free-riding sport that has been difficult to master as new moves are invented each day.

Safety along with enjoyment goes hand-in-hand!

It is therefore important to keep yourself fit and healthy while enjoying your favourite sport be it skiing, snowboarding, etc. So while the industry standards have been pushed more and more, it would be easier if you go and exercise daily just so you can enjoy your extreme sports while enjoying it.
