Foxdenton Hall Park is probably overlooked by most people. Not many people have visited it, even though for many it's just down the road. But, visit it once, and you will have a bag of surprises waiting for you.
A Historical Beauty
Not many know a lot about Foxdenton Hall Park which may be why it comes as a huge surprise to others. The hall was once home to the famous Lydia Ernestine Becker, the one who was the face of the Suffragette campaign and also the founder of the National Society for Women's Suffragette.
The more you look into the history of the city, the more it becomes clear how important this area must be. History speaks it all and with clarity.
Parking Space
The Foxdenton Hall parking lot has good size for car parking. Plus, it is easily accessible and free which is why it makes such a nice spot to let your car stay while you run errands nearby. All you need to do is reach the gates across the road and move straight into the park. The park only allows people with dogs less than four, in case you want to visit it with pet buddies. You can take the path through the tennis courts. It's a lovely walk with a lake and a fountain, and of course, the Foxdenton Hall.
Foxdenton Hall
Built in the 1400s, the hall has been rebuilt to be twice the original size. In the 20th century, the building was taken over by the local authorities. Thereafter, the area became the now-known Foxdenton Hall Park. Covering around 5.2 hectares, the area has seen it all. From vandalism to revolutions, the place has spent ages watching the world.

Apart from the obvious spots, the park does contain some rare places that are scarcely explored by people.
The Backside of the Hall
The back of the hall has a luxurious lawn, green, and sensory which looks quite pretty with the fallen leaves. Visit this place in autumn and you certainly won't regret it. Foxdenton Hall is a beauty in the fall.
The backside of the hall generally leads to the beautiful areas which have pretty picnic spots with a view of the tranquil greenery. There's also a football field for more fun. A quiet park, mesmerizing surroundings, and nature combine to give a wholesome experience.
Woodland Walk
The beautiful lake is near to the football field which takes you to the woodland walk, the perfect place to enjoy the fresh air. The walk welcomes you with autumn leaves and trees. Sounds of birds chirping and sights of squirrels busy with themselves can be a moving experience.
Foxdenton Hall Park has a large area going through extensive work. In winters, this place is most occupied. You can stay here for as long as you want, click pretty pictures, and feel the blissful life.
