Sometimes, grabbing that perfect pair of travel shoes may seem difficult because of an overwhelming number of types or models available in the market. Many questions come to your mind. What kind of shoes should you even be looking for? What are the things you should be looking for in a perfect shoe?
Here, we’re shedding light on some important factors you should consider while looking for a perfect pair of shoes for your expeditions.
They should be nothing but comfortable
The most prominent factor you should be focusing on while buying shoes is that the fit is comfortable. If you have shoes whose sole are eating down your feet or worse, giving you blisters, you just can’t wear them, let alone using them while travelling. You should always go for the brands you have tried before and even if you are inclined towards new ones, try them on properly! You don’t want any surprises when it comes to walking in shoes.
They should be reliable not just attractive
You see a pair of shoes in a store. High heels actually. You know, they would look amazing with that beach dress you just got last week. You bought them, took them on your trip and they broke! Were they even worth the embarrassment? Go for dependability more than the appearance. They might match your dresses well, but if you are planning to wear them for a long time, you should go for the brands and styles that would last for a long time even if they’re worn every day.
They should be in your BUDGET
For many people, brands and cost don’t matter much and for some they do more than comfort. So, set a budget and look for shoes that provide comfort, reliability and style. Yeah sure, sometimes you might not get everything you wanted, but at least they are saving you from the awkwardness of broken or hurtful shoes.
They should be able to adapt like you do
Maybe, you are the kind of person who, when travels, doesn’t stick to a single place all through your trip. Your shoes should be like you, i.e. able to change according to the terrain, weather and clothing. If you are planning to go for a trek, you should go for trekking shoes, and when you’re travelling in the rains, you should wear waterproof shoes. For beaches, your shoes should be airy and light. So, these are things you should keep in mind while buying your travel shoes.
