Keep warm this winter with our Jack Wolfskin jackets!
It’s that time of year again where we pack away our t-shirts and shorts for another few months, and get ready for the cold winter months ahead. Operating out of Idstein, Germany (and prior to that Frankfurt), Jack Wolfskin offer a wide range of jackets designed to protect you this winter.
Jack Wolfskin were founded in 1981 and have rapidly expanded over the last 34 years, opening their first store in 1993 which has now risen to 922 across three continents – one in South America, 610 in Asia and 311 across 14 European countries (as of February 2015).
Our Jack Wolfskin jackets have proven to be one of our most popular jacket ranges and we now have a rather large selection of 91 individual garments, for men, women and children.
The best-selling ladies jacket is the ‘Iceguard’ jacket which is made from 100% polyester stormlock active as well as lined mainly by Polyester (90%) but also Polypropylene (10%). This particular jacket is not waterproof, but if you’re expecting a bitterly cold day with little to no rain, this jacket certainly has the features to keep you warm. As well as being windproof to shelter you from the wind, it is insulated with a thick synthetic with metallic particles which reflects body heat so that it doesn’t escape and instead keeps you warm. Additionally, the jacket is knee length which is beneficial as it keeps a larger percentage of your body warm! Furthermore, it is lightweight, tear resistant and includes three pockets which can enable you with the option to carry more of your outdoor essentials.
Our most popular jacket for men from our Jack Wolfskin range is the ‘Cumulus’ jacket, which is made from and lined solely with polyester – Fibercloud HT 500ciun and Microguard Maxloft 200g/m2 respectively. Whereas the ladies ‘Iceguard’ jacket can be worn solely, the ‘Cumulus’ can be worn as an insulating layer in a layering system, as it uses windproof synthetic fibre fill and is lightweight (the size L weighs 800g). Just like the men’s jacket, this also has three pockets to store your belongings: two on the side and one on the inside.
Be sure to check out our full range of Jack Wolfskin jackets that are currently available on our website – where some of our newest additions have up to 40% off. Orders over the cost of £50 receive free shipping. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment below or message us on Facebook or Twitter!
