Wondering what to do this long Easter holiday? Well, if you’re not content with lazing around and catching up on the latest goings on in Jeremy Kyle then this blog might just be for you! Ladies, get your walking boots on and go for one of our top 3 spring walks, each of which take their hat off to Spring in their own special way.

1.RHS Garden Wisley, Surrey

The Royal Horticultural Society’s Wisley Gardens in Surrey contain over 240 acres of outstanding gardens but in the Spring their buttery golden daffodils really take over. You can enjoy a walk to the Trials Gardens, Wild Garden, Rock Garden and Seven Acres where you can expect to find over 70 different species of daffodil, from the miniature Tête-à-Tête to the classic trumpets.

2. Farndale, Yorkshire

For early Spring walks Farndale in Yorkshire offers a beautiful, deep valley of patchwork quilt fields divided by ancient drystone walls and narrow winding lanes and is most famous for its thousands of wild daffodils. Keep your ankles dry with your waterproof walking boots when you try the highlight - their one-mile ‘daffodil walk’ north along the banks of the River Dove to High Mill.

3. Dymock Woods, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire

Dymock Woods is particularly pretty, carpeted with bright yellow blooms, and there are several waymarked Spring walks to help you explore the landscape – there is even a special Daffodil Way. The gentle, walking route takes you through the wild daffodil country, along field edges, past orchards and meadows, and through the woodlands of Dymock Wood.

Why not dust of those old trusty walking boots and get a spring into your step.  We'd love to hear your comments and feedback as to where you've been this Easter,  please drop us a line
