Summer is my favourite season to spend outdoors, soak in the sun, and have a peaceful time. Recently I visited Les Arcs 1800; one of the four resorts in the area. Its high landscape and ski opportunities are what make the Alps trip worthwhile. Lush and full of greenery; the place looked lively.
If you are someone who loves to enjoy summer activities, Arc 1800 is the best resort in Les Arcs town. It has a myriad of activities to indulge in and is known to be Europe’s first ski resort with activity programmes.
When the village was built, the Les Arcs builders developed a golf course that is used in summer. In winter, it is converted into a ski space for adventurers. Today, there is plenty of chance for you to indulge in running, biking trails, and walking.
Les Arcs: The Destination
Les Arcs 1800 is 1800 m above sea level. This mountain resort in the Alps, south-eastern France overlooks Mont Blanc and is situated across the Upper Tarentaise valley. One of the biggest resorts in the place, Les Arcs 1800 houses four villages; Chantel, Charvet, Charmettoger, and Villards.
Les Arcs 1800 in Summer
Are you planning a summer trip to this region? You will not get a better view than this. Once the snow melts off, the resort turns into an activity ground for children and adults alike. It has 11 lifts that take ski lovers, mountain bikers, and nature lovers over 3000 m in height and give them an amazing view. There are so many activities to indulge in and you need a week-long trip to cover them all! One of the best times to visit this place is early July. There’s less crowd and more time to have fun.

Fun Activities in Les Arcs
There are so many activities to perform there and make memories for a lifetime. Here are a few of them that you should check out on the next trip there –
Mountain Biking
Mountain biking is one of the most fun activities at Les Arcs 1800. Various ski lifts take you to the mountain slopes. Once you reach, you can transport the bikes on Les Plagnettes TS, funicular, Varet TC, Transarc TC, Cabriolet T, and La Cachette TS. The only place where you can’t go is the Aiguille Rouge TPH.

An interesting activity is a dynamic yoga. It is usually a 1.5-hour long session and performed outdoors. A fun experience for those who are not familiar with the concept, it will help you unwind after a long day. You would also get to meet a range of participants and who knows, you all can form a group and hang out later.
